By default, Odoo’s return management goes like this-

Users will need to cross-check the delivery orders, find them from the list and then process them for the return. One can follow this practice as long as there are not many return requests to manage. Odoo Return Order Management from Backend & Frontend

  • Users can quickly return the product of selected sales orders.
  • Admin can check the history of received qty, delivered qty, and remaining qty of products from custom Odoo RMA.
  • Managed Delivered quantity count of Sales order products. It won’t consider duplicated delivery orders quantity count.
  • Users must specify return product reasons for better product evaluation.
  • The system will send a confirmation email once the return order request is passed.
  • Users can create return orders from the Website Portal.

Enhanced Features of Return Order Management from Odoo Backend:

  • Users can create return orders by selecting Sales order and Customer. On selection of the Sales, the order system will display the list of products included in the selected sales order.
  • Users can then select products they want to return with the quantity. It is necessary to specify the reason behind returning the product. Users can also view delivered qty and remaining qty count.
  • Return requests will be initiated once all details regarding the return orders are filled.
  • Admin can check the received qty and delivered qty of return products in the Return Orders menu.
  • The user will receive an email once the Odoo RMA request is confirmed.

Odoo Return Order Management from Website Frontend:

  • Users can easily create return orders from the Website frontend by clicking on the Return button from Sale Order Portal view.
  • The user needs to select the products to return with quantity and return reason.
  • Once the user confirms the return request from the Sales portal, the system will automatically generate a Return order in the backend.

Notes :

  • User can view their Odoo RMA requests from Return Order Portal View in the frontend.
  • Admin can validate the return request and start the Return process for the Customer from the backend.
